We are proud to offer this 1990 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 Coupe. This great example of a desirable 964 chassis is ready to thoroughly enjoy, and with a few added touches, is an incredible, fast, and reliable air cooled Porsche. Finished in Gloss Black over Cashmere Beige, this car is a classic color combination that looks absolutely incredible in any setting. Upon laying your eyes on it, it is hard to imagine the car is 30 years old. Upon our recent paint correction, we were able to bring the paint to a luster that likely hadn’t been seen since new. We had our in house powder coating facility finish the wheels in Black to match the paint, and give the car a small flair of attitude, to accent the driving experience this car gifts you with.
We just completed a service of this vehicle, as well as a full alignment correction done by Porsche of Jacksonville. At roughly 50,000 miles, the top end of the motor was professionally rebuilt. At the time, new pistons, cylinder seals, and valve guides were installed. Web 3.6 993 Sport Cams and a larger throttle body were also installed. While the motor was out, pieces were painted Speed Yellow, and the intake manifold was polished. Other upgrades done at the time include Fabspeed Headers and Sport Exhaust, Cold Air Intake, RS Flywheel, upgraded clutch, and a new distributor vent were installed. The car is lowered on Euro Lowering Springs, and the car rides on RSA Style wheels. To add to the incredible driving experience, we installed a Rothsport Shifter with the Carrera RS Golden Shift Rod. Shifts are now as precise and controlled as possible! Visually, we powder coated the shifter to match Cashmere Beige, and installed a Swine11 Singer Style Custom Shift Booth Plate.
This car is ready to thoroughly enjoy. The air blows cold, the radio is NOT installed, and everything works as it should. If you are looking for an absolute driving experience, then look no further. This appreciating asset is one of the hardest air cooled machines to get your hands on, and we are glad we were able to bring it to its current condition and re offer to the next caretaker.
