Thank you for taking a look at another unique piece of fiveninedesign inventory.  Here at fiveninedesign, we focus on providing some of the most unique, rare, and bespoke vehicles on the market.  With heavy focus on Porsche products, we are proud to market this beautiful 1990 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Coupe.  This 964 C4 is one of the most desirable air cooled cars on the market today.  Everyone wants the older Porsches, and the prices prove that, as they have been skyrocketing over the last few years.  This is an opportunity to get an amazing looking “outlaw” build, based on the sturdy, reliable, and “modernized” 964 Chassis.  The goal here wasn’t to offer a concours car, not a car that is a garage queen, or a car for a perfectionist, but a car for a driver.  For the guy or gal who wants to cruise to the local car meet, cruise down the coast, or through the mountains, and still have the ability to pull up to a five star hotel or restaurant, and watch people oogle in jealousy.

This Porsche was built with two things in mind.  To drive great, and bring back the nostalgic feeling of these smaller, more agile 911’s, and to look like a million bucks!  The car is originally Gran Prix White (and still is), but was wrapped in an Oracal Protective Film in the color of Papyrus.  The cream based color adds SO much to the character of the car, and is very fitting, and retro looking.  The white paint under the car is retained, although since it is nearly impossible to tell the car is wrapped, you will probably never see it!  99 out of 100 (not 9 out of 10) people look at this car for extended periods of time, and when we tell them the car is wrapped in a protective film and is actually white, the jaws hit the floor.  Identity Design, here in Jacksonville, FL, and one of our Partner Companies, is one of the pioneers of automobile wrapping in the country, so no amateurs did this car.  It was a two week process, and it shows!  The car is lowered via H&R Coilovers to give it the great aggressive stance that it has, and was recently just aligned by the Porsche dealership.  The car is as straight as an arrow, and tracks like new!  From here, we installed an absolutely insane set of wheels, that should be better known as “jewelry” to the car.  The wheels were custom made for the 964 by ROTIFORM, and retail for over $6000.00  They are know as FUC, as they are an obvious play off of the classic Porsche Fuch wheel.  They absolutely make the car.  The tail lights and rear reflectors are in very good condition, as most of these cars have cracked rear lights, that are turning pink.

Moving to the interior, the car has cues from the famed Carrera RS and RS America.  The interior on the car is very unique and custom, and is really a huge selling point for this Carrera 4.  The Recaro Seats are finished in standard fabric, just like the RS would have, and are unbelievably comfortable seats.  Not too narrow like some race seats, and the low profile fits the chassis perfect.  The door panels are from the Carrera RS and RS America, and are in great condition.  The RED Pull Straps, and handle make the door panel simple and to the point.  Once you are sitting in the driver’s seat, your attention is drawn to the dash and steering wheel.  The car has a custom MOMO Prototype Leather Racing Wheel, finished with a custom Leather Horn Button.  The wheel looks so perfect on the car.  Behind the wheel, it is hard to miss the gorgeous custom made Vertical Redline Tachometer, which is finished in Red with “Carrera 4” Script.  Like the racecars, the gauge has the RPM Limit marked right at the top.  To the right, you will notice that the clock has a Tag Heuer Logo to add to the nostalgic look.  The Gauges have Aluminum Bezels as well.

Mechanically, the car is very strong.  It had a $10,000 Engine Rebuild done about 10,000 miles ago, and the car runs and drives VERY strong for a 964.  With only 82,xxx miles, it is apparent the car has plenty of life left, and won’t need a rebuild anytime soon.  The car drips very little, but as you know if you are looking at this, that is very common on these older 911’s.  The car starts every time, and runs like a top.  With the upgraded parts, it feels much stronger than your average air cooled.  It does take some time to get used to driving with the Lightweight Flywheel, because the car can stall much easier, especially upon pressing the clutch in, but after a few miles of driving, you will be in sync with her, and the driving experience is very rewarding.
