Thank you for taking a look at another unique vehicle from fiveninedesign.  Always looking to provide the most unique vehicles in the world, this 2005 Mercedes Benz SL65 AMG is cut out for the job.  From the factory, these SL65 AMG Roadsters are the flagship convertibles built to be over the top.  New this vehicle had an MSRP over $187,000, and was ordered with all of the goodies!  Keyless Go, Ventilated and Heated Seats, Navigation, BOSE Audio, and a Panoramic Roof just to name a few.  As it sat, this SL65 AMG was built for a king, and would be more than plentiful to any discerning car lover.  To some, it could be brought a little farther, made a little more aggressive, and look the part for a $200,000 car.  This particular SL65, is the car for those people.

Completely rebuilt, this SL65 is a custom masterpiece.  To start, the car is fitted with a Prior Design Black Series Widebody kit.  This is not a bolt on bodykit.  This is a highly intricate, and extremely precise install, converting the standard SL to the looks of an SL65 Black Series.  Wider fenders front and rear, new sideskirts, front bumper, front carbon fiber lip, rear bumper, rear carbon fiber diffuser, rear decklid, and hood have all been upgraded to create the look.  To further make finalize this look, the car has been upgraded to R230 v2 headlamps (2009 and newer), and SL63 AMG Tail Lights, with the smoked center portion.  After fitting the kit, the car was resprayed in Ferrari Grigio Silverstone by the infamous StrasseSport in Los Angeles, CA.  The end result: one of the prettiest SL’s in the world.  The suspension has been slightly modified with the use of Adjustable Links, and a factory calibration via the SDS System at a Mercedes Benz dealership.  To finish it off, the car is on a set of custom Forged D2 Forged wheels finished in matching Grigio Silverstone with a Polished lip.  The 3 piece concave wheels look massive on the car, and show off the Verde Ithaca Painted AMG Brakes perfectly.  The pads have been changed to Ceramic to keep the stopping power high and the brake dust low!  The car rolls on 265/35/20 and 325/25/20 Pirelli P-zero Tires.  Performance wise, the car has had it’s ECU upgraded, as well as a resonator delete. The sound and performance of this car are breathtaking.  It sounds more like a speedboat then a car, and the pull due to the almost 700 horsepower and 850 foot pounds of torque is intoxicating.  It is not a car for an amateur, and in the wrong hands, could be deadly.  Make sure you keep the ESP turned ON!  Lastly, the interior of the car from Mercedes Benz is so close to perfect, that it didn’t need much to make sure it had as clean as a presence as the exterior.  The Burl Wood has been replaced with Carbon Fiber everywhere, which looks phenomenal.  The door panels and center console weave ties in great with the dark Natural Gray Full Leather of the car.  The Shift knob has the slightest accent of Verde Ithica, which was done to subtly tie into the brakes.

If you are looking for an average SL65 then you are not looking at the right car.  This isn’t for everyone.  This is a car for someone that demands attention.  This car will be the meanest looking car on your block, the meanest looking car at the Valet, and most likely the fastest too.  Originally built for the SEMA show, you can be assured that the car looks top notch.  You will have to get used to questions, and camera phones daily.  All services are up to date on this AMG machine, and the car just had a check up last week at an Authorized Mercedes Benz dealer.  It really needs nothing, but a new driver.

We encourage coming to see the car in person, but a PPI is always welcome as well.  Anyone who looks at this car, falls in love with it, so be prepared to fall into the same category.  Test drives will be permitted to serious buyers only.  Please contact us with any other questions or inquiries regarding this vehicle.
